Terms of Service

Last updated on December 12, 2025

These are the ground rules for using BioProfileMe. Nothing crazy — just the basics so we're all on the same page. By visiting or using this site, you're agreeing to these terms.

The basics

You're welcome to read, share, and learn from everything on this site. That's why we built it. But there are a few things we ask you not to do:

  • Don't try to break into the site, scrape it with bots, or mess with our systems. We're a cybersecurity site — the irony would not be lost on us.
  • Don't post spam, malware links, or anything shady in comments or contact forms.
  • Don't copy our articles and republish them as your own. We put real work into this stuff.
  • Don't use the site for anything illegal.

Common sense, really.

Our content

Everything on BioProfileMe — the articles, guides, reviews, images, and design — belongs to us unless stated otherwise. You're free to share links to our content, quote small portions with credit, or reference our work. But don't copy entire articles or repackage our content without permission.

This is educational content, not professional advice

We write about cybersecurity, digital safety, and privacy. Our goal is to educate and help people protect themselves online. But we need to be upfront about something:

We're not your personal security consultant. The info on this site is for general education. If you're dealing with a serious security incident, a data breach at your company, or need legal guidance — talk to a professional who can assess your specific situation.

Cyber threats change fast. Something we wrote six months ago might not fully apply today. We update our content regularly, but we can't guarantee every article is current at the exact moment you read it.

Ads and third-party links

We show ads through Google AdSense. We also link to external tools, services, and websites throughout our articles. Just because we link to something or an ad appears on our page doesn't mean we endorse it. Ads are served by Google's algorithm, not hand-picked by us.

Comments

If we have comments enabled, keep it respectful and on-topic. We'll remove anything that's offensive, spammy, or contains malicious links. Our site, our rules.

Liability

We do our best to publish accurate, helpful content. But things can go wrong — maybe you followed a guide and something didn't work as expected, or a tool we recommended changed its policies. We're not liable for any losses or damages that come from using the info on this site. Use your own judgment.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we do, the date at the top will change. Keep using the site after an update and you're agreeing to the new terms.
